Lan == Fun
Howdy folks!
This post is pretty much the central source of information for the upcoming lan we are holding on April 15th, 2010 in C139 at 4 p.m. We are all of course really looking forward to this event and hope the earlier start in advertisement will make it better than last year in regards to attendants and game diversity.
– As stated on the flyer we are encouraging everyone to bring their own hardware to this event. This includes your towers, headphones, monitors and any other accessories that you enjoy gaming with. If you want to bring your consoles, please note that the school displays only accept VGA and DVI inputs so you will definitely need your own displays or the appropriate adapters.
– We are encouraging all attendants to have a Steam account allowing for a smooth, homogeneous experience with everyone’s favorite games. Expect recent titles like Battlefield Bad Company 2, MW2, AvP ( Hopefully!! 
) to make a show as well as the older classics like CS: Source. I’m also aiming to buy some old DRM free titles like UT2004 etc. and host them up on our network in case you show up with nothing to play or a rig to handle the new stuff. Ideally if your computer is at least post millennial expect to have something to play.

– We will feed you! Expect a slightly wider variety of healthy and non-healthy foods this time. Same goes for beverages and keep in mind that this is a non-alcoholic/illicit substance event due to being held on campus. If we see something that shouldn’t be on campus we’ll get Dave Peck to “escort” you off the premises. He works out you know.
So I hope the above information is enough to float everyone’s boat. Of course there’s enough time to answer anyone elses specific questions in the comments so feel free to speak up and I or the other club guys will help you out. If anything new comes up we will post it for sure.
